In dual role as external customer service technical support consultant and internal systems manager I implemented a number of IT innovations for software support and customer relationship management functions, as well as business improvements through upgrades to the internal IT systems. I was involved in project management, delivery, implementation, and support of all TridentGLOBAL International Trade & Logistics IT systems for corporate clients Australia-wide. Integrating these solutions with a wide variety of network systems and infrastructures.

Successfully directed my own company, MacsWell Solutions, providing exemplary professional computer and IT consulting services, specialising in Macintosh business solutions and support. Provided various technical services as an independent sub-contractor, and also completed a number of short-term contract appointments.(Moved residence to Adelaide in Aug 1998, from Melbourne, for family reasons.)

Supervisory role in the rollout and support of a new campus-wide ethernet network of 1000nodes for 2500 users with 600 Win98 and 200 Mac desktops.Supported the implementation of file & print, mail, intra/internet and other services on Windows NT servers, with Win 3.x, Win 95, and MacOS desktops, remote access and WANs, and specialist clinical information and communications systems.Designed, developed (FileMaker Pro), implemented and supported the Help Desk and Technical Support Management System used by the support team.Developed database solutions for departments within the Hospital, including the “TrainTracks” staff development management system for the Human Resources Dept., and a clinical audit system for the Opthalmology Dept.
