While Rob and Natasha manage the day-to-day operations well, I am still around managing the marketing, admin and many other things. I'm not a printer by trade, but I quickly came to realise that this business was not really about printing - it was about providing great customer service and solving people's problems. Technology is a huge part of our job so it fits naturally with my experience. What I really love is working one-on-one with clients to help them with their business. There is a natural bridge between this role and my role as accountant.

Everything except youth and children's work (had fantastic people with a passion for that). The main time component was public speaking and planning. While I was at LifeSwitch the church grew in size, depth and impact (although I can't take the credit for it - probably happened in spite of me). Fantastic memories and HUGE personal challenges.

I started in Wellington in 1990 as an audit assistant, and in 1994 went to Toronto. Became involved in an internal software product and quickly became a specialist in one area. In 1996 I moved to Princeton, New Jersey to be part of the product management and development team. I worked with some fantastic people and had a great time - especially in NJ. In my time with Deloitte I have audited insurance companies, deposit-taking instutions, service and non-profit organisations; I have designed software, written software (well - a very small bit), created volumes of training and support material, trained people all over the globe, been on global committees and practice reviews, and flown around the world more than once! Those were the days!
