Part-time lecturer in Missiology and Study of World Religions.I also lecture in Cross-cultural Issues for Centre of Youth Ministry degree course and supervise dissertations at undergraduate and Master's level for Centre for Youth Ministry and the Irish School of Ecumenics.

My role is to support mission projects of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and its partners, both at home and overseas.

The Irish Churches Peace Project is an initiative of the Ireland’s four largest churches, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, Church of Ireland, Methodist and the Irish Council of Churches.ICPP has been set up to promote reconciliation in Northern Ireland's communities - through the churches working together.As Good Relations Officer I facilitated dialogue and opportunities for churches to engage across the community divide in the Newry and Mourne area.I also initiated contact and cooperation between the theological colleges of the partner churches.

A congregation in East Belfast in an area with a mix of housing types. My ministry in this congregation included an emphasis on community involvement in local housing estates. Partnerships were developed with the local Church of Ireland parish and community organisations.

A united Presbyterian and Methodist charge in a multi-ethnic situation. The main emphases of my ministry were encouraging the integration and unity of an ethnically diverse congregation. This was done at a social level and through encouraging and training people to be involved in various aspects of church life.

I was Team Leader of the Language and Orientation Programme (LOP) with responsibilities for cultural orientation and pastoral care of new missionaries.I was mangarer of the LOP section, including approximately 12 staff.I also was involved in training seminars for Nepali pastors etc.Initiated and pioneered the production of a Theology of Development for UMN
