I have thrived in the creative design and digital media industries for over 15 years working on both agency and client side. With origins as an Art Director in advertising, I have built my career into becoming an award-winning Head of Creative for one the UK’s largest media organisations. I am responsible for complete design output on client design projects, developing identities and themes to create a fully immersive digital experience for large audiences. From concept to completion, I am thoroughly involved in transforming visual projects and their complex messaging into simple eye-catching designs creating engaging, memorable designs with clear messaging.I skillfully visually interpret briefs via a graphical approach, considering how the work will communicate cohesively but also how it will function on digital platforms, large scale wayfinding and on screen. I utilise both my experience and illustration skills when storyboarding, looking for ways to attract attention and entertain and incorporate art directing, film and motion productions. But it doesn’t end there, my extensive knowledge of design and its impact potential are key in knowing how to establish messaging across other touch points such as tactile print and digital wearables. I collaborate regularly with diverse creative disciplines across the globe, effectively managing a constantly evolving team varying from graphic designers and art directors to film makers and 3D experts in augmented reality /virtual reality.
