Having served as Corporate Medical Director since October 2012, responsibilities increased to include President and CEO roles. Founded in 2002 with focus on primary care, on-site clinics, the WORKsiteRx™ leadership team has expanded its service offerings to include face-to-face, comprehensive, care management services that facilitate delivery of outcomes based health care at the community level. At the heart of the solution is the critical integration of insightful informatics that demonstrates tangible value and provides a clear line of sight to reimbursement transformation.

Led health and productivity consulting practices for employer segment 9/2009 to 2/2011, followed by primary focus on business development through 2/2012. Organized our teams to focus on health care stakeholder alignment and balanced scorecard use to ensure fast and accurate measurement, management, and specific outcomes achievement in four critical performance domains that align with health care reform initiatives and fully incorporate provider initiatives.

Provided clinical support for account management and sales; including clinical program business development and customer facing activities. Created SHPS’ Healthcare Services Division and managed its profit and loss (P&L).• Created the Healthcare Services Division from six subsidiaries; completed merger of an $18 million 24/7 nurseline (CareWise) acquisition; and divested the organization of two subsidiaries• Integrated the Division’s products to offer SHPS’ suite of Total Population Health Management products, including medical, disease, absence, and retrospective claim management services• Achieved 25% revenue growth and profitability for this $55 million division

Directed Highmark’s clinical strategy, medical policy, quality management, the physician component of utilization management, and local/national accounts clinical sales support for all lines of business.• Completed strategic re-design of Highmark’s medical management initiatives to meet the clinical and financial requirements of its 2.8 million-life, health insurance business• Revised the entire spectrum of disease management programs and re-contracted all outside vendors

Delivered the first integrated health and absence management products to the US market and provided the associated full spectrum of sales support.• Delivered $23.2 million in incremental revenue, a 12% reduction in STD duration, and a 24% reduction in workers’ compensation costs through the new CIGNA IntegratedCare products• Directed provider contracting in five diverse markets to include absence management• Directed national product rollout to key producers, Fortune 50 accounts, and field sales staff

Managed 160 FTEs and the following operations: graduate medical education (Family Medicine, Surgery, Transitional Year Programs); post-graduate medical education; Area Health Education Center (AHEC); Trauma Services; Outpatient Clinics; Family Medicine Center; Library Services; Audiovisual Services; Infection Control and Nutrition Support Teams.
