About Peter Metzinger

As an international coach or consultant since 1998, I have supported companies, industry associations, other organisations and individuals in driving and managing change, as well as finding unconventional solutions to impossible missions in the fields of leadership, marketing, communications and/or politics – so far for more than 200 clients from ABB to the World Economic Forum. Mr. Campaigning is a nickname that others gave me. For the World Economic Forum in Davos I concepted the Open Forum. My lectures and publications have helped several dozen founders and politicians to successfully launch their business or election campaign. A political party that applied my campaigning theory gained 24% more votes in an election 2014. As a global speaker I have spoken in America, Africa, Asia and Europe, at Fortune 500 and other companies, Swiss universities, various organizations in Germany, Management Center Innsbruck and the Swiss-Vietnamese Clean Air Program in Hanoi. Als Stockwerkseigentümer im Limmat Tower ist es mein Ziel, das Limmatfeld besser in die Stadt zu integrieren und im übertragenen Sinne eine «Brücke über die Gleise schlagen, damit das Limmatfeld mehr zu Dietikon gehört». Ich möchte zudem auf der politischen Ebene aktiv werden, damit sich etwas zum Besseren wendet. Konkret: das unbefriedigende Parkplatzmanagement, der Rapidplatz, der zu wenig genutzt wird, auch nicht genutzt werden kann, beispielsweise weil Schattenplätze fehlen und der Belag nicht ideal ist und der Gewerbe-Leerstand. Ich möchte erreichen, dass das Limmatfeld eine eigene Identität entwickelt. Das Quartier empfindet Tower und Höfe momentan nicht als Einheit. Es fehlt an einem gemeinsamen Bewusstsein. Dieses soll durch Aktivitäten in der nächsten Zeit noch mehr gefördert werden. Das Limmatfeld soll nicht mehr als Fremdkörper in der Stadt wahrgenommen werden, sondern als Teil einer Stadt, in der sich Traditionelles verbindet, mit dem, was die Zukunft bringt.

It happened again and again sporadically until recently when I started hearing it several times a week. This is one of seven interpretations of Strategic Campaigning Guideline No. 1 and has the objective to burn into people‘s memories. It can also be indefinite, when it is long-term and the timeline until achievement is impossible to predict.Campaigning is the art of motivating people via well thought-through and strategically planned activities so that they help you to effectively achieve your goals in a concrete and measurable way.
