New Business Transitions TeamAs part of the New Business team, I coordinate between the property management teams and new clients to develop initial financial reports for the asset's stakeholders. I play a significant role in ensuring new clients and properties transition smoothly to JLL management, acting as the property accountant during the transition process. I also review and sign off on financial reports produced by other JLL colleagues. Over all, it's a happy medium between accounting and people management.

Manage all day-to-day financial accounting activities, including payables, receivables, cash management, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations. Train new JLL employees hired on for new properties.

Worked with property management and clients to produce timely monthly close and accurate financial statements for 5 to 7 properties with various deadlines.

-Gain valuable Big 4 Audit experience.-Reviewed quarterly 10Q and 10K to ensure proper disclosures and presentations of financial statement.-Provided value-added recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of key operational processes.-Reviewed policies and procedures to determine applicable compliance and the adequacy of underlying internal controls.-Performed audits for various public and private clients to ensure fair presentation of financial statement.-Assessed client procedures and control environment, identified key business issues and recommended opportunities for efficiencies and improving client profitability.

-Assisted in monthly close process by ensuring that all parties contribute timely results including the agency’s monthly forecast along with variance analysis.-Review purchase orders and assure releases of balances from state and federal funding.-Evaluate and complete requests for transfers of federal funds between transit, planning, and construction phases.-Perform fiscal analysis on budget requests and related material for compliance.-Provide detailed status evaluations to Federal Highway, and resolve issues; calculate and complete de-obligation funding requests.
