Bootstrapping the Centre to UBC IT online services as Edge Admin (from initializing an OrgUnit, through to EAD management), coordinating the build and then administering platform (VMware, Windows Server, MS SQL Server, etc.) for our own-hosted clinical Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system and preparing it for active secure data collection, compiling and managing the collection of all technical information for a Security Threat Risk Assessment (STRA) process (for Health Authority and Research Institutional compliance), and supporting the user base for compliance with data privacy (Personal Health Information) and information security best practices, including on-boarding and off-boarding roles handling PHI on the basis of principle of least-privilege.

Running the department as a member of the station's Executive Committee; training new on-air recruits on technical radio and recording equipment, hosting, and live and live-to-tape programming, legal, and best practices requirements; ensuring three-fold increase in capacity for new recruits to fill newly arrived FM on-air schedule was met late 2002-early 2003; assisting with demo tape/online submissions; coordinating and training volunteers to train new on-air recruits; adapting training materials over time as needed; attending and providing input and feedback during biweekly Programming Sub-Committee and weekly Executive meetings; reporting to the membership during semi-annual General Meetings; etc.

Redeveloped the GradeBook grade reporting system, and Graduate School online application systems, for Computing Science Technical Support within the School of Computing Science. This included:o analyzing, modeling, and migrating data previously held in flat files into a new MySQL RDBMS backend;o redeveloping the Gradebook codebase, in Perl, to integrate new or migrated data to the MySQL database, and;o developing online Graduate School application software in ASP with MS SQL Server RDBMS backend.
