Having spent 20 years teaching science, maths, ICT and technology as well as leading schools in a range of leadership posts I opted like many other teachers, to step away from state education. During my tenure as a school leader I project managed a number of ICT and electrical projects and so it was a natural for me to progress into the construction industry. Coupled with a passion for science and technology; with years of experience in teaching and assessing; I now specialise in the electrotechnical sector. I am Managaing Director of Monty Electrics Ltd, an electrical contracting company which offers high quality services to local domestic, industrial and commercial customers at competitive prices.I am also a Director at Arena Training Centre in Sheffield which provides a range of courses for new entrants into the electrical profession as well as ongoing professional development for qualified and experienced electricians. With a background in leading large educational institutions I have a thorough understanding of the challenges facing business in both the public and private sector.
