Retained for leadership position following sale of business to hearing instrument dealer expanding offices and product line into new markets across 15 states. Hired by CEO and Regional Director to spearhead operations of four offices and to ensure excellence in diagnostic evaluation and rehabilitation services for hearing impaired population. Recognized as high volume producer generating revenue of $30 – 40K monthly per location verses company average of $10 – 15K.* Successfully supervised nine employees including Audiologists, Hearing Instrument Specialists, and Patient Care Coordinators. Built practice to full service audiological facility providing hearing instruments as well as diagnostic and special testing services for children and adults. Grew business from two to seven locations in Kentucky and Indiana, and purchased the company in 1989 overseeing operations, business development, profit and loss, and employee management. Successfully grew business from $200K to $1.25M, remaining active in sales, and establishing company as premier provider for hearing care services. * Directly accountable for hiring and training 17 employees including Hearing Instrument Specialists and Audiologists. Became largest dispenser in Louisville, Kentucky area.* Modeled best practices in selling and fitting hearing instruments. Following purchase of company, continued to sell at main office location which housed 2 Audiologists, Secretary, and Business Manager.* Established strategic pricing to optimize profits, and implemented inventory control initiatives that effectively tightened expenditures.* Capitalized on marketing dollars to increase customer traffic using newspaper, television, radio, and direct mail. Developed business plans, identified sponsorship opportunities, and created impactful materials to gain attention.* Began to sell off individual locations in 1994 with liquidation of all business in 2003.SALES LEADERSHIP o Recognized by manufacturers for expertise in fitting of hearing aids.
