Back in aerospace after 25 years. Back when I started with Raytheon’s Financial Management Development Program (FMDP), the challenges are still similar, the skies and space are still wide open. A wonderful and valuable start; the beginning of learning the art & science of transformational change; which we brought to a high art and discipline at legacy E.I. DuPont & Nemours Co. Now at Incora, a Platinum Equity company going places. It’s an interesting combination of my careers leading supply chain innovation and my love of making useful things, that interest I share with my son, now launching his career as an engineer. I have great teams supporting top Incora customers across the US and a global engine program. Good things are happening and better things are to come in aerospace! Thomas Edison said it well: "Innovation is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration". - My focus has always been on where people, process, technology and analytics come together. Success is from applying innovation in those spaces - and delivering much better results. Change is hard, it always gets better with a dose of humor and fun.Integrated Business Planning; Delivering Value From Complexity, Decision Rights, Demand Management; Supply Chain; Operational Excellence, LEAN Six Sigma; Industry 4.0; Predictive Analytics.

Managing Director - Solutions And Business DevelopmentBlack Box Opened - Black Box Industries Aug 2015 - Jan 2017We start with a simple concept from The Open Black Box Theory. We adapt the leading methods and models for complex business and analytical challenges. Predictable using math or not? A simple idea that unlocks complex data, targeting where the most value can be delivered quickly. Predictable becomes much more efficient with lower touch, less predictable may have patterns more complex math can uncover; the "not predictable" becomes a much smaller pool of decisions for your team empowered with more time. We transfer the knowledge, provide sustaining analytics, advise, coach and mentor. You own the strategy, project structure and resource choices. Our experience with the world's most complex value chains, with high risk, leveraging large fixed investments against rapidly evolving end user and consumer demand - and nimble and innovative competition. We combine world class "data science" and deep successful experience with analytics to target the most impactful "future external stakeholder value drivers" to accelerate time to results and time to value - we focus on developing your teams capability so YOU sustain gains and grow capability to deploy and strategies with much greater resilience and agility. 4 Building Blocks:1. Deep and broad improvement and transformation experience leveraging the most effective methods and models as frameworks - APICS SCC SCOR, Oliver Wight's IBP, Gartner's & Supply Chain Insights Demand and Market Driven Models.2. "Outside In" Financial Analytics to focus on the future value drivers - applicable to all internal improvement work. This resonates and provides relevance for investors, boards, the CXO team and internal project teams. 3. Analytics - the latest data science to connect the "outside in" to the "inside out" and target key end to end segments and levels of process with aligned KPIs and Metrics.4. We partner with you and your teams - our partnerships with leading organizations provide scale for any size project.
