As Manager Forwarding Operations responsible for the Domestic planning department including customer service and eveningdesk together with the responsibility for the crossdock operation at the headquarter of Mainfreight in 's-Heerenberg. A 24 hrs operation.Domestic planning is reponsible for the planning of our fleet in The Netherlands regarding distribution/deliveries and collection of national and international shipments. This is in total a team of 22 teammembers including the teamleader domestic planning.Eveningdesk is a team of in total 18 teammembers including the teamleader Eveningdesk which is responsible for the EDI, paperwork and other administrative responsibilties of international freight forwarding durin 24 hrs a day.
