Successes include challenging the norms of cloud computing by deploying our applications with Nomad as opposed to Kubernetes, drastically reducing the resources required to manage our infrastructure and surrounding configuration.Responsibilities: • Designing infrastructure to enable a zero trust architecture in a single tenancy and multi tenancy model. • Researched FEDRAMP compliance requirements and chose tools that would enable us to more easily achieve the requirements. • Instituted the use of Packer to build immutable and reproducible images of applications and virtual machines. • Instituted the use of Terraform to automating the provisioning of infrastructure components on GCP. • Instituted the use of Vault to secure sensitive information and auto rotating credentials. • Instituted the use of Nomad for deploying containerized workloads with Docker (experimenting with other drivers, primarily podman and firecracker). • Encouraged the switch from GitHub to GitLab to streamline the deployment and CI/CD pipeline process. Responsibilities: • Used ReactJS to build out a frontend applications that connects hardware companies with manufacturers, solving challenges around complex network effects. • Implemented a GraphQL server as the API layer for the frontend application. • Simplified backend architecture by migrating from Prisma GraphQL to Hasura GraphQL, rearchitecting the original database schema for scalability which in turn enabled faster feature releases. • Worked with third party APIs such as Auth0 to create secure login flows, manage various different user roles, and fire off internal logic based off events. • Worked with infrastructure services such as Heroku and Digital Ocean to host the application infrastructure. • Used tools like Docker and Bash scripts to create reproducible local development environments. • Used tools like Docker to deploy development and production versions of the application on our infrastructure. • Managed changes to the codebase with Git and GitHub and adhered to standards for clean commits and pull requests Show less

Saigar CTF is the World's First Open Source Intelligence Platform for crowdsourcing leads on missing persons cases. The platform has been used and is currently used to facilitate and power Capture the Flag events across the globe.Successes include scaling the platform to 1,000+ users and 10,000+ submissions in a 6 hour period and being used in one of the largest national events to source new leads on missing persons as well as the largest cyber security conferences in the world.
