Dallas/Fort Worth Area

As an automotive body technician for Park Place, it's a little different. We work on higher end vehicles. I bring in damaged vehicles for disassembly, I write the supplements through a program the company provides, I do the negotiation with the insurance adjusters, I do the repairs on the damaged vehicles, and I reassemble the vehicles after paint. Here we do sheet metal repairs and aluminum repairs. Aluminum parts require unique procedure our company provides. We communicate with our co-workers/team through emails to make our jobs more simple. Once job is repaired, painted, reassembled, we also quality check it ourselves. Quality check means we look through our repaired job to make sure everything we did to repair the vehicle looks great, works great and ready for client delivery.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

As an automotive body technician, I brought in damaged vehicles, disassembled the damaged areas, and wrote supplements. Supplements help insurance adjusters understand what is needed for the damaged vehicle to be repaired, whether it be parts to be replaced or repaired. Once our estimators and the insurance companies come to an agreement, our estimators begin ordering parts that we need for repairs of the damaged vehicle. We complete the repairs which include power tools, shaping of sheet metal, sanding, grinding, welding/spot welding adding body filler and shaping. When repairs are completed we send our repaired vehicle to paint. After the repaired vehicle has been painted and buffed with a gloss finish, the vehicle comes back to us for reassembly.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

As a quickpaint technician, I am to repair cars that have minimal damage at very competitive pace. Minimal damage that customers rather not have insurance involved. We also repair warranty jobs, damaged vehicles within our company's fault, and cars from our preowned sales department. My responsibilities are to receive jobs, read what area of the vehicle is damaged and repair what our customers ask. This includes sheet metal repair, plastic repair, priming, wet sanding, car masking, painting, reassemble new parts, and buffing. Jobs were to be finished 1-3 days within arrival.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I repair crashed vehicles. I drive them inside the body shop, take the damaged area apart, including broken/shattered parts that were involved with the wreck. Afterwards I write a supplement for collision estimators. This lets them understand what damaged parts need to be replaced or repaired and how much it will take to ensure the damaged area will be fixed. Once all of insurance companies and our estimators come to an agreement, they have parts ordered and we begin the repairs which include hammering/shaping sheet metal closest to its original form. We weld/spot weld replaced sheet metal, glaze over damaged metal and sand it/shape to perfection before a new paint job.
