De in totaal bijna 900 medewerkers van DC Overijssel dragen zorg voor de dagelijkse belevering van zo'n 230 Albert Heijn winkels in Noordoost Nederland. Als Operationeel Manager Besturing maak ik deel uit van het 3-koppige MT van de site. Daarbij geef ik leiding aan de Shiftleaders, Medewerkers Besturing Support en de Capaciteitsplanner. Shiftleaders hebben de dagelijkse leiding over het gehele (7x24) logistieke proces. Daarbij geven ze direct leiding aan de medewerkers in de cockpits. Daarvandaan worden alle operationele processen bestuurd. Medewerkers Besturing Support dragen zorg voor de inrichting en uitvoering van randvoorwaarden om het logistieke proces goed te laten functioneren. De Capaciteitsplanner draagt zorg voor een juiste vertaling van te verrichten werk naar in te zetten mens- en materiaal capaciteit, op zowel korte als langere termijn. Al deze medewerkers hebben tevens een rol in het initiëren en/of doorvoeren van verbeteringen in het proces.Als Operationeel Manager Besturing ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de genoemde besturingsprocessen en heb ik de eer deze ervaren club van doorgewinterde logistieke professionals te leiden.

The Replenishment process within Albert Heijn is a state of the art solution for serving our customers by maintaining availability of our products in all the 900+ Albert Heijn Stores. Besides that we manage availability in 8 warehouses with a process thats highly integrated with our store replenishment process. Replenishment Preparation is the place where all tactical decisions for the Albert Heijn Supply Chain regarding Replenishment are made. The team consists of 8 Specialists and 3 Analysts who all have a huge track record within Albert Heijn. The main strength of the team is the various backgrounds and personalities of which it consists. Often this leads to interesting discussions and always to a high quality output. Since 2009 I'm the Senior Specialist, which means I am responsible running the daily business in the team, including coaching and advising the team members.Setting up and running the Replenishment processes made me one of the most experienced persons within the Albert Heijn organisation on Replenishment and Logistics. Knowing that the Central Replenishment approach we are running, is unique within the FMCG world, made me one of the proudest experts on this planet.
