Following Apergy’s acquisition of Ecolab's upstream business to form ChampionX, built and led the Ethics & Compliance and Global Trade Compliance programs, including anti-corruption, sanctions and export controls, internal investigations, and policy implementation.

Led the legal team for Ecolab’s Energy Services division, a $4 billion provider of products and services for energy-related operations in 50+ countries.Spin-off and Sale: In January 2019, Ecolab announced its intention to spin-off its upstream business as a standalone public company. Executed complex carve-out, including separation of operations in 50+ countries, negotiation of core spin-related agreements, preparation of key corporate governance policies, and preparation and filing of initial Form 10. In December 2019, Ecolab agreed instead to sell the business for $4.4 billion to Apergy Corporation, which was renamed ChampionX at closing.

Executed M&A and JV transactions in Angola, Canada, Equatorial Guinea, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, and U.A.E., among other places.
