Synergic Software is a boutique consultancy specializing in custom high-fit web and mobile application development, Oracle E-Business Suite integrations, extensions and customizations,► Custom High-Fit Web and Mobile Application DevelopmentWhen your business processes are proprietary or specialized in a way that no off-the-shelf software meets your needs custom software can create a competitive advantage in your industry. I work with clients to design an build software to solve the business problem realize the benefits custom software can provide. ► Oracle EBS Integrations and Data ConversionsThroughout my career I have successfully completed dozens of projects that involved getting data in and out of the Oracle E-Business Suite. I have created design patterns and best practices for both one-time data conversions as well as ongoing data integrations. These design patterns and best practices allow me to quickly create highly resilient and maintainable interfaces. Anyone that has tried to create an interface to or from the Oracle EBS realizes that each API comes with its own nuances and limitations. It is important to have someone familiar with those idiosyncrasies so your project does not promise interfaces that the Oracle EBS cannot support. ► Oracle EBS extensions and customizationsLike most ERP software the Oracle EBS has the agility of an aircraft carrier. While it allows your users to complete most of their business functions, it may take several screens and clicks to do so or involve looking up information in a report to use when completing the transaction in another screen. This is a problem for businesses that handle high transaction volumes.I help clients solve this problem by “Extending” the standard Oracle functionality by creating a custom user interface that presents the Oracle transaction data the user needs to see in a more logical format and allows them to create transactions in a matter of a few clicks.

The client has a unique business model which cannot be supported by industry standard off the shelf software. After reviewing several options it was decided to pursue a custom high-fit solution. I started the project by conducting a series of meetings to map out their business processes to understand how the custom software could support and enhance the current workflows. After the business processes were worked out, I prototyped several use cases and we refined the design. The entire solution was then built and tested. The system supports a full back office staff integrated with over 50 practices with several hundred concurrent users. The application handles patient demographics, doctor orders, inventory, purchase requisitions, and patient treatment information. This allows the company to implement their rapid growth plans without having to linearly add staff. The solution is fully deployed in the cloud using Amazon AWS.Technologies Used:• Amazon AWS Ec2, S3, SQS, SES, RDS• SQLServer Database• SQL / TSQL• C#, .NET• ASP.NET MVC• WCF Web Services

Oracle E-Business Suite Integrations and CustomizationsProject consisted of rolling out several Oracle E-Business Suite R12 modules to the European and Middle East locations. Part of the roll out required integration with a rental tool system the client used in their rental tool division and some customizations to satisfy user requirements.I was responsible for the technical design and construction of ongoing interfaces for purchase orders, purchase order receipts, and customer invoices. There were also requirements to automate several processes such as inter operating unit asset transfers which required automating the retirement of assets in one operating unit and the addition of assets in another. In addition to the integrations custom invoice and purchase order print documents were created using Oracle Reports and XML Publisher as well as a handful of custom reports using the Eis Reporting tools.Oracle Interfaces Used:• Purchase order open interface, purchase order API• Purchase order receipt open interface• Receivables invoice open interface• Fixed assets additions API• Fixed assets retirements API• Payables invoice open interfaceTechnologies Used:• Oracle Database• SQL, PL/SQL• XML , XSL• Oracle Reports• XML Publisher• Eis Reports

When a large organization is acquired by an even larger organization one of the first goals is to start sharing data. It was my responsibility to work with the various internal application owners and the enterprise integration group to discover opportunities for data sharing, negotiate data flows, and determine formats and protocols to be used.Once the data integrations were determined, I was in charge of architecting the data flows in and out of the Oracle E-Business Suite. I created design patterns, standards and a framework for the different types of data (transactional, master, configuration) and the direction of the flow. I then assembled and led a team to design, build, and test the integrations. We started by creating a light framework of reusable components to implement the design patterns for the most common types of flows. The framework allowed some types of integrations to be quickly implemented with only configuration, no coding necessary. It also implemented a standard for error handling and communications. The designs for each data flow consisted of functional and technical discussions to map data, determine triggering events, and define exception flows. The flows were then built using the framework. When the project was complete, we had dozens of data flow moving master and transactional data between multiple ERP systems including Oracle E-Business Suite, Lawson, and SAP as well as various smaller systems used for manufacturing and transportation management.Technologies Used:- SQL, PL/SQL- C#, .NET- XML , XSL- Web Services- Windows Services- ASP.NET

This project was an effort to make the several highly repetitive time consuming tasks in the Oracle E-Business Suite and streamline the process for the users by creating extensions to the standard ERP functionality.A particularly inefficient process was the sales order release to ship confirm process. This includes the sales order release to warehouse, pick, pack, ship, and confirm processes. Using standard Oracle Order Management and Oracle Advanced Shipping modules this process required dozens of screens and reports to flow a sales order line through the entire process. There was also no optimization or visibility of the status as the order line was being fulfilled. To solve this problem we built several dashboards that were specialized for each job function. Each dashboard was based only on Oracle E-Business suite data, it was just displaying it in a way to allow better decisions to be made. Also, all transactions created from the dashboards were standard Oracle transactions, they were created using the standard APIs and Interfaces and streamlined to default much of the data from prior transactions.• The Orders Dashboard allowed the sales person to choose which orders were released to the shipping department and then view the status throughout the process and ensure it was going to ship as expected.• The Picking Dashboard consolidated order lines that needed to be picked and allowed the warehouseman to optimize their trip through the warehouse picking product that needed to be shipped. Barcode scanning was implemented on the material and documents to keep the picking users from having to type in any data. This increased the efficiency and accuracy of the picking process.• The Shipping Dashboard allowed the shipping department to view orders that were in the process of being picked and where they were being delivered. The dashboard made suggestions for consolidating shipments to optimize shipping costs.

Architected and built an integration between Oracle Order Management and a third party logistics provider. Users could dispatch order shipping requests to the logistics company for a reverse auction process. The shipment lifecycle was reflected in Oracle Order Management.
