Specializing in the rapid development of custom integrations in the Enterprise Automation and Management spaces.Lead Developer on a cloud provisioning project using HP Operations Orchestration and custom developed JAVA IActions to implement required workflows and integrations between HP SA, Adaptive Computing's MOAB, and HP vConnect. Project Goal: Provision physical and virtual systems, using full OS installs, with rapid turn-around on a platform that's hardware and hypervisor agnostic.Subcontracted on a large government effort, utilizing experience in Enterprise Management, System Administration, and Programming to facilitate requirements not inherently present in the customer’s chosen tool set/software/platform. Wrote JAVA applications to convert VMWare vCenter events into log files able to be scanned by HP Operation Manager policies, using the VMWare Web Services API. Instantiated and maintained all Linux systems (~50) in the lab. Performed base installs and initial configurations of Oracle, Operations Manager, Operation Orchestration, Reporter, and Network Node Manager. Used OO to distribute configuration files to Linux and Windows systems. Wrote OO RAS IActions to interface with Oracle and MySQL using JDBC.

Participated in wide and varied Enterprise Management efforts within major telecom, financial, and government space. Some highlights include: using Remedy to develop a custom trouble ticketing system to facilitate go/no-go decisions for launches at Cape Canaveral, using PERL, Oracle and Apache/Tomcat to implement an inventory management/RMA system for a major telecom’s Frame Relay network, architecture and implementation of a real-time CDR analysis system within a very large VoIP implementation, and development of a custom prototype VM provisioning system using OO and Remedy Service Request to interface with VMWare and HP SA. Often needed to stand up the development infrastructure to support the above efforts.

Performed all test duties for a team developing modular routers. This included all lab configuration and interoperability testing against Cisco and Ascend, utilizing protocol analyzers to provide developers traces of improper implementation. Required a familiarity with Ethernet and Asychronous/Synchronous interfaces, Frame Relay, X.25, T1 (full, frac, and PRI), and modems.

Provided all services required to support the IT needs of about 100 employees (e.g. deploying systems, planning and installing network infrastructure, and administering Netware 3.11 -> 4.1.
