I'm an investor, founder, and legal expert for international projects with more than 16 years of experience. I help companies increase their return on investment, accelerate time to market for new products, gain competitive advantages, and reduce their risks. I was born in 1976 in Romania and moved at the age of 11 to Germany. At the age of 18, I founded my first company in international trade. After studying law in Freiburg (Germany), I was with the German Foreign Ministry in Thailand and Croatia and Tilleke & Gibbins, one of the leading law firms in Asia. As a lawyer, I was mainly responsible for the international business of the clients of my former law firms in Germany. In 2015 I founded INN.LAW - Innovative Lawyers, a boutique law firm specialised in international business. I'm a recognized specialist in International Business Law (Fachanwalt für Internationales Wirtschaftsrecht) and specialist in Commercial & Corporate Law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht). Also, I'm a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris and Co-Author of standard international contracts within the ICC Commission on Commercial Law and Practice. Finally, I'm an Arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), DIS (German Institution of Arbitration) and an ICC certified Incoterms 2020 Trainer. In my seminars, I share my know-how with executives, legal experts, organisations, and various associations on reducing risks and increasing value in international contracts and the importance of using a modern approach as a strategic tool. Furthermore, I founded Contract Champions, an international platform for exchanging knowledge among practitioners. Being strikingly called "a unique blend of lawyer and businessman", I seek to detect business opportunities and successfully implement strategic projects for my clients. Recently, the CEO of a listed international company referred to me as "Finally a lawyer, who can explain complicated matters in plain language so that I can make the best decision for my company."
