About Peter Rampulla

Assist our firm's urban planner in projects that require the management, modification, and unification of the natural and built environment. In addition to land use practice, I am also a licensed filing representative, fulfilling our firm's expediting needs as they pertain to the NYC Department of Buildings and NYC Fire Department. I am particularly interested in the growing importance of urban planning as the functions and demands of the city are becoming more nuanced and technical, including the implementation of sustainable practices and data analytics. I received my BSBA in Entrepreneurship from Drexel University, where I enrolled in a 5 year / 3 co-op program. Before joining Rampulla Associates Architects, I was an assistant property manager, where I oversaw the day-to-day management of approximately 600 residential units and 10 commercial spaces located in the Upper West Side neighborhood of Manhattan.

Building design choices can support diversion from the landfill. Collective action and creative strategies can propel New York City towards a circular system.Culminating a year of immersive research in partnership with DSNY, Forefront Fellows developed a report and created original projects on increasing waste diversion at restaurants; fostering pathways to local circular jobs; investing in decentralized waste infrastructure; and reclaiming underutilized spaces for local community exchanges. New Loops re-envisioned how we keep our city clean, offering new approaches to waste that support our health, climate and society.
