The data ingestion side of the pipelines interfaced with over 250 cryptocurrency exchanges either via their websocket APIs or via RESTful APIs, transforming their data into our internal representation in real time, as well as performing and exposing real-time aggregations on incoming data via AWS kinesis data analytics. Also, designed the system such that adding new exchanges to the ingest pipeline could be (and was eventually) taken over by junior staff via performing field mappings and configuration.
