I run the show with the help of a very experienced team of Instructors and outside consultants. I am involved with long term planning as well as the day to day running of the business which includes site maintenance, sales and marketing as well as financial control. I spend a fair amount of time putting off people who have great ideas on how to spend my money with no guarantee of any return (to me, not them!) Our strapline? "We sell Fun from corporate to kids"

A family farm adjoining the shores of Bewl Water growing around 2% of all the blackcurrants that go into Ribena, apples for the Arena Gold label, cereals and a vineyard growing the Champagne varieties for Chapel Down. The farm is also the headquarters of Arena Pursuits which utilies many of the 10 miles of private tracks on site, 70 acres of woodland and the traditional parkland areas.

Organised, with the help of the team/committee, some great company visits, PubHubs (networking), seminars, Sporting Dinners and forums. Kent was, and still, is the most active branch in the country.

Office based mainly answering phones, dealing with enquiries and operating the telex machine! Some time liaising with clients in SA, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Jack of all trades. One trip was to Harare with a suitcase full of oil filters for a client. His fitter had not lived up to his name, he had changed the oil on the trucks but not renewed the filters. Another job was to buy a full wedding dress and shoes for a lady in Zambia who was about to get married. I had never met her ler alone knew her sizes - hope it all fitted and the day was memorable for all the right reasons.

Driving new bakkies (pick up trucks) from SA to Zambia - slightly 2nd hand by the time we got them there + Long distance truck driver in Southern Africa. Ag man, a real lekker time!
