About Peter H Reinhart

More than 20 years experience in academia (Duke Medical Center, UMass Amherst), biotechnology companies (Cogent Neuroscience, Proteostasis Therapeutics), and large pharmaceutical companies (Wyeth, Pfizer) in the field of orphan diseases, diseases of ion channels, and neurodegenerative diseases. Initiated and led project teams that have delivered 14 clinical candidates, a number of which are currently in Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials for indications ranging from Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, to ALS, CF, and stroke. Focused on translating innovative ideas into novel therapeutics and medical devices. Currently managing a portfolio of translational drug discovery and clinical device development programs in preparation for industry partnerships and the creation of new technology and therapeutics development companies.
