At all levels, whether it is Boards, CEOs or their executive teams, family businesses, State Disputes or workplaces, people require guidance to face and enter their negotiations constructively and learn and grow from them. I work with people to help them regain control, prepare for unpredictable situations and apply an easy framework to use for all similar, future engagements. People I've helped include:- Government appointees;- Chairs, CEOs, Executives and leaders; - Family Business Owners, small and medium companies and franchises; - Principals, Deans, Teachers, Clergy and Religious Leaders; - Government Councillors and Unions.Work I've undertaken include:1) Negotiating multi-year, public contracts with Government Heads and Ministers;2) Mediating deadlocks in substantial natural resource contract negotiations; 3) Negotiating multi-party, new power, supply deals between public companies and land-owners; 4) Helping organisation CEOs, leadership teams and boards to resolve their underlying conflicts;5) Mediating entrenched workplace disputes; 6) Helping siblings navigate inheritance issues; and7) Presenting workshops and keynote presentations on ‘The ABC of conflict / negotiation’ My work experience is diverse. I’ve consulted in Fuel, Retail, FMCG, Franchising, Building, Health, Disability services, Telecommunications, Recruitment, Family and private sectors. Along with 2 brothers, we owned and built a nationwide professional services group, Tristar, employing 100+ very talented office staff and over 300 IT subcontractors. I've served as a business transition adviser/operations manager to a family business aligned with Caltex Australia. I sit on Commonwealth, State and specialised mediation panels. Monash U appointed me as a Senior Teaching Fellow in the JD Law Program. I was approved as a Fellow of the Resolution Institute, as well as an accredited coach and assessor for mediator accreditation in Australia. I have lectured in Entrepreneurial Process at RMIT and in Negotiation at ACU. I also facilitate negotiation workshops with international and local trainers. Education- Masters in Conflict Resolution (Latrobe U) - Bachelor Applied Science (QUT)- Post-graduate Negotiation studies (ACU)- Program on Negotiation (Harvard) under a self-funded grantI am very driven by a passion to help others develop their skills and interactions.
