Helpful Hounds Assistance Dogs was founded in 2018, to work with the Physically Disabled or others with Autism, Down’s Syndrome or Emotional Issues. We also have embedded Assistance Dogs in Special Needs Schools or Schools and Colleges with Special needs Students. Operating from our base in Dorset, and into Hampshire, Wiltshire as well as parts of Surrey and London, we are a small but growing charity, staffed mainly by Volunteers. Like the whole Charity Sector, COVID has made a considerable impact. We have changed our working practices and the way we have attracted funding, resulting in good progress this year. The challenge now is to grow and to help change the lives of more families and to support more Schools with Helpful Hounds Assistance Dogs.In August 2017 I reviewed my own activities and decided to streamline the working approach around The Right Hand (Sales & Marketing) Ltd. As a result, the decision was made to close a number of companies and to work, only, with selected Associates on "Projects of Interest" that come by word of mouth. A new website (www.redpartnership.com) was launched in September 2017 that illustrates this point. This has also freed up valuable time to devote to Helpful Hounds Assistance Dogs. Following on from my career in Financial Services, I have spent many years creating, facilitating and delivering profitable management solutions, especially in and between the UK and the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Asia but also in helping local charities in the UK to develop, in a time where there are a lot of calls on limited income as experienced in recent years. This is reflected in the role with Helpful Hounds Assistance Dogs and developing it from newly registered Charity in 2018.The Right Hand (Sales & Marketing) Ltd (Which trades as The RED Partnership) was formed in 1995 after 30 years working in senior management positions including strategic planning, marketing, sales and financial services.
