The first stage of this was migrating already containerized microservices from GCP and Rancher to Azure. The second phase is containerizing existing on-prem services and migrating these to Azure. Components are written primarily in Java using Spring Boot.I am also the full time Scrum Master for a team of 12, working on this large-scale Agile project with Rally, liaising with the Product Managers and the Scrum Masters for the other teams. I run the Agile ceremonies, including the daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives as well as leading the Sprint planning and User Story refinement. I am responsible for assigning work to each team member.I also worked on an earlier project in airline IT, with Scandanavian Airlines (SAS). My role was to develop the layer which connects to the Amadeus Web Services, specifically those in departure control (Altea).

I was also the Scrum Master for one of the teams.• Development, testing and implementation of a system to read and process DSN files. These files are monthly returns from companies sent via French government agencies and contain all the latest data for employees of companies for which Delta provides insurance services. This requires the update of administrative data as well as recognising when employees join or leave their company.

In a freelance contract spanning over 19 years, my major achievements in reverse order, included.• Multi-GDS consulting to the Global Cytric Corporate SBT implementation teams (now part-time).• Extension of the Open Profile System (OPS) in Unix, C++ and XSL to push corporate traveller profiles to North American travel agencies.• Implementation of the multi-GDS layers in JAVA/J2EE and C++ to support the state of the art Amadeus One Travel Agency platform multi-GDS capabilities. • Development of a common external provider interface using Java/J2EE Struts and Hibernate which allows external travel providers to have a presence on the Amadeus corporate booking systems.• Development and implementation of a Visual C++ / JavaScript / XSL / XML system providing a normalised and industry standardised interface to global travel content. This includes content from Amadeus’ major competitor GDS, Galileo, Apollo, Worldspan and Sabre.• Major contributor to the development and implementation of the Amadeus JCP Booking Engine. One of the largest Java/J2EE implementations under WebLogic in the world.• Development and implementation of a Visual C++ COM+ middleware system providing a SOA for Amadeus’ agency front office systems. This system provides an XML interface for some of the first GUI based distributed systems to the Amadeus Central reservations system via EDIFACT.All these systems are live in production and support many millions of transactions daily, originating from around the world. They are robust and implement the latest multi-threading technologies.
