This includes content from Amadeus’ major competitor GDS, Galileo, Apollo, Worldspan and Sabre.• Major contributor to the development and implementation of the Amadeus JCP Booking Engine. One of the largest Java/J2EE implementations under WebLogic in the world.• Development and implementation of a Visual C++ COM+ middleware system providing a SOA for Amadeus’ agency front office systems. This system provides an XML interface for some of the first GUI based distributed systems to the Amadeus Central reservations system via EDIFACT.All these systems are live in production and support many millions of transactions daily, originating from around the world. They are robust and implement the latest multi-threading technologies.
