Managing the eCommerce Integration Team, which develops plugins and extensions to enable the Route experience for many of the largest eCommerce platforms including: Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and more.I am thrilled to be leading this international team of dedicated, talented developers to improve our integrations to eCommerce platforms. Our integrations have powered the growth of the Route network to incredible levels and our team is able to focus on scaling, hardening, and improving our systems to enhance the merchant and customer experiences across our integrated platforms.

Software Engineer
I have been contributing as part of the eCommerce Integration Team at Route. Our team develops plugins and extensions to enable the Route experience for many eCommerce platforms. I have taken the lead on developing new integrations for the PrestaShop and Bold Cashier platforms and driving them to launch and public release. I was working with NodeJS, PHP, and MySQL on these projects.Communication for our integrations has historically been from the merchant site in to Route, however to enable Route to programmatically refund or replace orders we needed to enable communication from Route servers out to the platforms. To accomplish this, I designed, architected, and developed a new microservice in Go to abstract all communication from internal Route services to our platforms. This abstracts the differences between different platforms, allowing internal teams to build their systems to 1 unified API, freeing them to ignore the complexities and differences across different eCommerce platforms.
