I have been exercising my soccer mojo as a referee at the middle and high school levels in Central Massachusetts since 2010. This follows on my year as an official in Eastern Massachusetts in 1988, That followed my nine years as a high school varsity soccer coach in Eastern Massachusetts.

For two years I was the teacher of a self-contained middle school class that was newly created at that time. I wrote and implemented IEPs, I wrote and implemented all academic studies for my up to 10 students. I attended TEAM and other meetings regarding my students. I worked with parents and other outside agencies. I collaborated with other professionals at CREST. My students had disabilities including specific learning disabilities, high functioning autism, emotional disabilities, behavior disabilities and other challenges.I was transferred into a high school class right before school opened in August 2020 because that teacher had suddenly left CREST. The first year it was a self-contained eleventh and twelfth grade class. I wrote and implemented IEPs, I wrote and implemented all academic studies for my 10 students. I attended TEAM and other meetings regarding my students. I worked with parents and other outside agencies. I collaborated with other professionals at CREST. My students had disabilities including specific learning disabilities, high functioning autism, emotional disabilities, behavior disabilities and other challenges. I started teaching career exploration and Job Preparation which continued for the next three years, also.In the second year through the fourth in that high school class, I have been the math teacher for a four-class, 9-12 cohort that would have students on a graduation track. Much of my time has been teaching, teaming with other teachers, clinicians, therapists, specialists and others to promote educational engagement of our shared students.

I was very excited to come to Target International Student Center as Academic Director. This terrific school for adult English Language Learners has been in existence since 2005 and recently earned its accreditation from ACCET, Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training. I looked forward to working with the current staff who are doing many great things to earn such accreditation and to add to their practice and to the staff as we welcome more students to Target. It was a very interesting place to work. I will fondly remember my work with the students, teacher and many of the other staff. I wish the school the best in the future.

As a part-time independent contractor, this is an exciting opportunity for me to connect with corporations, companies, organizations, associations or other groups or individuals who have a message, or messages, to get out to the public. I seek these groups to allow them to underwrite an educational or informative video to be broadcast nationwide on PBS affiliates for a minimum 500 broadcasts to minimally 3 million viewers in the first three months! I connect them with the other creative staff at Trivue Entertainment to produce a four to six-minute video, with the subject and perspective almost totally under the decision making of the underwriting organization. It was great to be back in a public school district, working with troubled students in their home town and helping the school, professionals, parents and other service providers to help these students succeed. Due to unknown circumstances, my work was been stopped. They have not replaced me.

I am delighted to be working at the Tri-County Schools in Easthampton, MA. I had a great year serving my students teaching Algebra, US History, Biology and Chemistry. In the summer of 2013 I am teaching middle school. I am an active and successful member of the school's faculty and staff. There is much that I continue to learn from this experience while sharing my philosophy, skills, understandings and previous experiences with my colleagues.

Middle School Assistant Principal, at O'Maley Middle School and Auburn Middle School, in two public school districts. One school had 1000 students and 125 staff and the other had 630 students and 95 staff. I was specifically in charge of scheduling and discipline. I also worked on hiring, supervising and evaluating staff, design and implementation of programs and other duties assigned by the principal or district Superintendent.

Worked with students with learning disabilities in the regular classroom and separately. Also worked with regular education teachers to build programs in which all students could learn.

I worked with ten students in a substantially separate class. There was some mainstreaming, but most of the teachers did not want these interesting students in their classes. I was very proud to be told by the assistant principal that my students were the only ones who were working every single day when he did his walk through my room.

2 months as elementary speech and language pathologist and 4 months as elementary resource room teacher

Director of education program at 14-bed residential program contracted by the Department of Youth Services and the Department of Social Service (now Department of Children and Families,) nominated for 1989 Department of Youth Services Educator of the Year. I was hired to redesign the educational component to have it be ready for special education licensing.
