With a commercial real estate career spanning multiple market cycles, I have led investment and asset management strategies for a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate loans and properties. My strengths lie in an ability to create a clear investment strategy tailored to each asset and execute effective asset management skills. Throughout my career, I have sought ways to be an active member of the community. Currently, I am a guest lecturer on real estate fundamentals at Chapman University and an active board member of the Palos Verdes Golf Club where I am overseeing the renovation of our clubhouse in connection with the club's 100 year anniversary. I have a passion for outdoor activities including mountain biking, skiing, heli-skiing, golf, tennis and pickleball.Career Highlights include: • Acquisitions: Led the acquisition of 130 commercial real estate properties exceeding $1.3 billion delivering exceptional returns of 30-40% with the average IRR exceeding 21%. • Leasing: Directly responsible for the execution of approximately 460 leases across multiple asset classes since 1994. Completed 200 signed leases for 1.4M square feet of space between 2018 and 2023. • Capital Improvements: Directed multiple construction teams overseeing $300 million in capital improvements, including property repositioning and extensive renovations across various markets. Improvements include roofs, elevators, HVAC systems, tenant improvements, spec suites, white boxes, lobbies, conference rooms, restrooms, corridors, gyms, lounges common area renovations, exterior upgrades, parking lot improvements and seismic retrofits. • Asset Management: Oversaw the performance and operations of 80 buildings covering 15 million square feet with an asset value of $1.2B. • Due Diligence: Reviewed and analyzed thousands of leases, created hundreds of Excel models, performed multiple market studies, hired teams of third-party vendors to assist in the due diligence process. • Financing: Closed approximately $700M of acquisition financing and refinances and extended investment periods through the successful restructuring of $300M of debt. • Market Knowledge and Contacts: Cultivated and maintained extensive capital market and leasing contacts plus extensive market knowledge in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Honolulu, Phoenix, Denver, and Salt Lake City.
