I started with 8VC in 2018 but have a long history with the early hires at Palantir. Over a period of twelve years, I helped recruit Palantir’s first advisory board, led a project recruiting the chairmen of the Fortune 100 and did most of the first international hires. Since Palantir, I recruited founders and founding teams for a few early Build companies, and most recently I have been working in defense tech. Closest to heart, I publish on Substack, using my interests in aviation and meditation as a way to reach interesting people outside the tired means. I am a backcountry bush pilot, former farmer and live between Austin, SF and a remote cabin in Idaho. I hold, barely, a BA from Dartmouth (where I flunked my only CS class).
