Working as a member of the Test Engineering team of a £100 million turnover high technology company in the data communications market. The company was responsible for the R&D and manufacture of products for customers such as BT, Cable & Wireless, British Gas, Barclays etc, etcMy final role covered the following tasks:•Support the NPI (New Product Introduction) route into manufacturing•Liaison with the design & development (R&D) functions, advising on testability issues for product manufacture and test•Liaison with contract manufacturing teams •Project management of over 20 successful NPI’s•Development of test procedures/documentation for use within manufacturing•Part of the team responsible for the setup of offshore manufacturing and test at contract manufacturing sites throughout the UK
