Lead a 3-person team that acted as the first level of appeal for employment insurance claimants in the St. Hyacinthe, QC region. As President, reviewed cases in advance, allowing a consensus decision to be rendered on the day of the appeal hearing, after meeting with the claimant. Researched jurisprudence and wrote a decision, in either English or French, based on the Employment Insurance Act.
