I am passionate about helping organisations and individuals better understand how they can deliver better value to their customers while remaining sustainable and true to their values. Using my experience and knowledge I am helping others develop their capabilities and competencies, so that they can be more successful in their roles and careers. Over the past two years I have led the development of a Capability Leadership Framework, linked to bespoke Educational and Career pathways for aspiring and existing leaders in the Disability and Care Sectors. This work has become more important as the pandemic has impacted workplaces and roles, and this in turn has caused many people to reevaluate their longer term career aspirations.In my CEO role at Montrose I led the development and implementation of the Business Strategy, improved our service delivery processes, ensured the delivery of high quality services to our customer base and built the resilience of the organisation. My previous roles include leading the Strategic Asset Management Division in the Department of Housing and Public Works Queensland. The Strategic Asset Management Division had responsibility for high level strategic leadership across the public sector in the management and delivery of its property portfolio and capital investment program. The Division undertook a program management role in the delivery of government employee housing, fleet management services, office accommodation and other state owned assets. In my role at Communities Property Portfolio in the Department of Housing and Public Works, I was responsible for and provided high level strategic leadership to the department for the management of the property portfolio, delivery of the capital investment program, and for promotion of best practice in residential and community design. In Victoria I led a great team to successfully deliver $2.4b of capital works in Victorian School funded through the Economic Stimulus Plan. I have held roles of Associate Professor and Head of the School of Property, Construction and Project Management at RMIT University.
