My responsibilities as a Tour Guide at Rider University encouraged me to hone my skills in many different areas, including communication, public speaking, and problem-solving. My main responsibility was to lead prospective students, families, and specialty groups across the campus, enlightening them through school achievements and my own personal experiences. I also addressed questions at any point during the tour to made sure that no one left the university with unanswered concerns. These responsibilities were especially evident during school events such as Open Houses and Admitted Students Days, where I gave numerous tours and interacted with many students and families. When not giving tours, however, I was also responsible for working with the Office of Admission to file documents, package outgoing mail, organize shelf spaces for efficient storage, and more.

As an Orientation Leader (OL) at Rider University, I worked with a team of my peers involved in many different clubs and organizations to best represent the university to new students and families. In the weeks leading up to the orientation dates, I worked with this group to create and implement an engaging experience for attendees, developing themes and individual schedules for each OL, filming informational videos, designing helpful slideshows, and more. During an orientation, I was responsible for leading a group of new students throughout various sessions of the program, maintaining a positive and model attitude for the future Broncs. At any point during or after orientations, I served as a resource to students and families, answering questions and concerns about the university and its elements.

My 8-month Co-Op at DePuy Synthes, one of J&J's largest franchises, gave me the opportunity to grow my skills in supply chain planning and forecasting. I worked on a global team to support major projects, specifically in New Product Introduction (NPI). I was responsible for data organization and analysis, utilizing ERP software such as SAP and JDE to ensure all material details and forecasts were accurate. I also developed new methods of drawing business conclusions through complex Power BI dashboards.

Working full-time for over 7 months in this role, I held numerous responsibilities that gave me a strong understanding in both supply chain and data analytics. While on the A&I team, I had the opportunity to drive value to the company by utilizing data programs such as Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and Alteryx. Much of my work involved creating or updating Power BI dashboards involving datasets with millions of rows of supply chain data. I also received both my Alteryx Designer Core Certification and my Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma while in this role!
