In an executive-level leadership role, I led a team of 60 staff and implemented and managed group-wide IT systems, including backbone and security for corporate networks, business continuity, corporate and branded websites, and security tools for internal auditing. I authored the complete quality and information security management systems documentation, and introduced a group-wide help-desk system based on ITIL Service Management Framework.I took a lead role in the set up and design of a new technical centre for the company in the Philippines and planned and managed the installation of a range of ELV systems for a greenfield leisure resort on the Nepal-Indian border. This project involved the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of various solutions, from structured cabling to server room, cable TV, CCTV, access control, property management system, point of sale, stage and lighting, Wi-Fi, public address, fire and evacuation.

In a strategic management role, I led a 30-strong IT department for one of the Big 4 audit companies, taking on an initial review of policies and procedures in place. I focused on enhancing productivity by implementing new quality management systems internally and encouraged inter-departmental communication across the company. During the acquisition of new satellite offices in China, I led the due diligence process and security assessments. I spearheaded multiple IT projects end-to-end, controlling budgets and timeframes efficiently. In asset management, I analysed forensic assets to support client projects relating to technology in the corporate recovery group. Within the group, I enabled progression opportunities for staff through CPD intensive training.

Hong Kong

Initially, I established project plans to install monitoring and control systems (GMBS and SCADA) for the new airport at Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong, including roll-back plans for fuel delivery systems maintenance. I represented the company at project meetings and interfaced with all other contracts. Internally, I led a team of 120 engineers in total with accountability for all PMO and office IT infrastructure.
