Priorities for the mandatory CLE working group include:* Drafting model rules for accrediting distance learning* Developing model terms and definitions for distance learning formats* Drafting model rules for accreditation of CLE content that is not necessarily of a legal nature but is law-practice related. * Drafting model rules to harmonize the accreditation of law firm in-house CLE with that of traditional CLE providers.

Served as Chair of the Texas Supreme Court Judicial Committee on Information Technology (JCIT) which is responsible for helping automate the Texas Court system and put Internet on the desktops of all 3,200 judges. JCIT has been responsible for eFiling in the trial courts of Texas.

Established the Computer & Technology Section of the State Bar of Texas to assist lawyers, paralegals, and law firms better understand how to use computer technology to assist clients.
