The purpose of the CCA is to enable individual practitioners, and the profession of coaching to develop strategies and practices that provide coaches, the coaching profession, coach training organisations and coaching clients (individuals, leaders and their teams) the right space to step into their necessary leadership role in the face of our climate and ecological emergency.We first must move ourselves, raise our consciousness in order to welcome a new way of being in relationship with earth. Once we have started, we can offer a very different place of coaching and dialogue with our clients.The CCA is also intended to help resource ourselves and to create spaces to process as we find ourselves both personally and professionally affected by powerful emotions generated by the climate and ecological emergency we are in and we see the capacity of our planet to support life reduced.

The Center for Cisco Heritage, a collaboration between Cisco Systems and the Computer History Museum, was established in 2013 with the goal of preserving 30+ years of Cisco history.

Managed and grew local and regional corporate philanthropy programs, including Cisco Foundation Community Grants, corporate equipment grants, and employee volunteerism and personal philanthropy.

Facilitated $5 million in grants for rural economic development from the Golden LEAF Foundation by developing and implementing successful first proposal and grants process.

Served this renowned $500 million statewide family foundation by developing new programs and nonprofit collaborations, and making grant recommendations on up to $12-15 million per year in women’s and minority issues, education, environment and community economic development.

Submitted successful $500,000 to $1M proposals to corporate and foundation prospects such as Keck, Kresge Foundation, and The Duke Endowment.

Researched and wrote successful fund-raising proposals to prospective foundation, government, corporate, and individual donors.

The sole staff position for The Center for American Architecture and Design, at the School of Architecture. Wrote and edited successful proposals for grant and fellowship funding to foundations and corporations.
