In 2014, I became Managing Director of RSK Communication Services (creativersk.com) – a business that specialises in technical writing and design for energy and environmental companies.Our work includes writing and design of technical marketing materials, socio-economic impact reporting and stakeholder communications. Projects vary from writing, designing and producing customer magazines to creating subsea animations. This work is often on energy transition technologies and products.Before joining the company in 2004 as a technical writer, I had brief periods working as a geological consultant and university lecturer. Academic research and work for RSK have taken me to countries as diverse as India, Greenland, Libya and Kazakhstan for an equally varied range of energy and environmental clients.
