Pete Thrane assists insurance businesses in handling the legal, regulatory and corporate law dimensions of their business. Pete handles insurance transactions, formation of insurers, dissolution of insurers, reinsurance, product distribution mechanisms, governance matters, product development, producer licensing and compliance matters.Pete also has extensive experience in advocating insurance matters before state legislatures and administrative agencies. He frequently appears before the Minnesota Legislature, the Minnesota Department of Commerce and other agencies. He has assisted insurers and producers with many Minnesota regulatory issues, such as holding company act filings, transaction applications, solvency investigations, enforcement matters and product filings.
