Originally acting in an advisory role, I quickly realised that there was a lot of hands-on recruitment work that needed doing too. During 2021 in 2022, I built a recruitment team from scratch and developed and defined our recruitment policy and process, plus hired a lot of new colleagues. We nearly doubled in size during this time, going from 170 headcount when I joined to nearly 300!
