This role suits me perfectly as I have been able to bring all my knowledge & experience and enjoy the different challenges that a variety of companies have had and help them improve their businesses.I have worked in a variety of roles this year including staff coverage for sickness or holiday cover and management cover for businesses going through transitions of staff or services. I have spent the last several years working with problem branches and have played an instrumental role in turning them into efficient, profitable businesses by identifying the core issues and tackling them.This role has allowed me to fall back in love with the industry again and being back on the front line, serving customers, building relationships with them and local businesses and enjoying the banter that goes on in the stores. A lot of my time previously was spent behind the scenes for one reason or another and I feel like I became detached from the everyday scenarios that occur in a pawnbroking & buy back store.This year I have worked with some great companies in the pawnbroking & buy back industry and have been lucky enough for many of them to become repeat clients. I have achieved the required results set out at the start of my consultancy with each of the companies I have worked with & have often achieved these results before the date set as the deadline. I found that through my experience & with being fully insured to cover any scenario from my self-employment as a consultant many of the companies I have worked with prefer to have me covering a branch and getting my feedback on any bad practices or areas/ideas that would improve the business, as my day rate would be much more value for money for them than shuffling staff around to cover for a short period. There is far more to gain from having an eternal, experienced person coming into the store with a view on developing the business than having another employee covering there who may see it as an easy ride.
