Director, Asset Performance & Investment Strategy
As Director of Asset Performance, I provide leadership for the Investment Strategy, Asset Management, Distribution Work Strategy, Asset Information & System Policy, and Mapping departments (~60-65 management & ~10-15 represented employees).I oversee the development of the 5-year investment plan for ComEd’s transmission and distribution (T&D) system. The department provides technical support to customers ranging from designers to senior executives.Responsibilities included oversight of the development and execution of the Capacity Expansion category budget ($150-200 million).Influenced ComEd’s regulatory approaches on microgrids, smart inverters, and the interconnection of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) to guide business strategy and tariff structure via the preparation of testimony, date requests, and consultation with stakeholders and commerce commission staff.Implemented a web-based public facing interactive hosting capacity map for ComEd’s ~5,600 feeders.
