Hello! I’m Peter Urscheler, a proud first-generation American with roots in Tavares, Florida. My story is one of diverse backgrounds; my mother, Norma, emerged from the challenges of life in the Philippines to become a pioneer in the medical world, while my father Emil, originally from Switzerland, played professional soccer and later mastered the art of Victorian furniture craftsmanship.I'm a proud Stetson University alumnus, majoring in Marketing and MIS. Shortly after graduation, I was recruited by SEI, a global financial services corporation. There, I contributed to significant projects, including the implementation of the SEI Wealth Platform, a $1B+ technology. In 2014, combining my passion for marketing and the needs of smaller businesses & non-profits, I founded 235 Bridge, a consulting firm focused on strategy, communications, and growth.In 2017, I became the youngest Mayor in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania's 172-year history. Since taking office, I've overseen numerous initiatives from affordable housing projects to progressive environmental resolutions. In 2019, I was honored as one of the Nation’s Ten Outstanding Young Americans by JCI USA.In 2021, I became the Director of Development for Ann's Heart, dedicating my skills and passion to furthering our mission to ensure a place of welcome and human services for all Phoenixville Area People.I serve on various boards, including the Schuylkill River Passenger Rail Authority, Pennsylvania Municipal League, Phoenixville Area Senior Center, HOBY PA East Youth Leadership, Pennsylvania Election Law Advisory, PennPrime Insurance Trust, Schuylkill River Heritage Center, Pennsylvania and Phoenixville JCI.Throughout my journey, I've remained deeply committed to my family, having been the primary caregiver for my parents in their final years.
