I am engaged in a broad spectrum of architecture activities to provide value adding solutions for many business and technical challenges. Key business value has been delivered when involved in the application architecture portfolio considerations for recent large Federal Defence Department contract bids such as the DDG transition for the 3 new Hobart class destroyers from ASC and the SEA 5000 frigate acquisition.I also provide solution support for the Maritime, Land and Integrated System business units of BAE.

I was engaged to setup a green field Enterprise Architecture system that interacted with the IS PMO office and the ITIL Change management processes. This was to focus on the Queensland GLNG Coal Seam Gas project, which is a strategic $16B LNG project and then used as a reference architecture for the remainder of Santos.

I was engaged to supplement internal IT architecture resources to fast track the delivery of urgent Technical Architecture deliverables for the timely implementation of the Hobart Class Destroyer design project.

I was engaged as a member of an Enterprise Architect Consultancy team to complete the delivery of the Aurora 5 year strategic plan and Enterprise Architecture System to uplift rapid changes to Aurora’s Tasmanian Energy Capability.

I reworked the centralised Coles group corporate Enterprise Architecture and made it specifically applicable to the Target Australia business unit domain. This included a working EA system for use by the IS governance team.

I setup the Enterprise Architecture system and applied it to add value and assist with key business decisions. The 3 diverse business units required focused architecture work using different artefact views to address specific needs.

I assisted the IS department to realise value from the University’s data resources. This was achieved through the delivery of a “Data Management Strategy” and initial Information Architecture model capability.

I was engaged in a generalised Information Management role through the use of Business and Information architecture to investigate ways to make better use of Information within the regional and corporate divisions across the enterprise. This focused on 2 deliverables: 1) a community of practice for Information Managers to collaborate and 2) a report to improve the integration of staff directory data across the numerous IS systems.

My role was one of CIO to manage the entire IS and IT capabilities of the Local Council. The municipality was quite challenging due to its size and diversity of geography and agriculture. I used a number of Enterprise Architecture artefacts to develop and deliver on a 5-year IT&T strategic plan.
