It may have been the big tube radio I played with as a 2 year old where it all began. Clearly I would pursue a career combining my love for music and technology. I found the perfect combination of those plus my qualities like precision, care and focus in audio mastering. In 1990 I started working as a full time mastering engineer at Digipro (later: SoundFacory) andsince 2003 I run my own mastering studio FineTune, proudly continuing mastering for artists & labels worldwide. With a selection of top quality gear, small business overhead and 30+ years of experience I feel I can offer a sensible choice for serious artists at any point in their career.Clients I've enjoyed working with in person include Asia, After Forever, Ayreon, Epica, Q56, Threshold, Vengeance, Valentine, Brainbox, Kayak, Lee Towers, Gruppo Sportivo, The Kelly Family, George Baker, Urban Dance Squad, Saskia Laroo, Paul van Vliet, Robert Long, Dirk Scheele and Herman Finkers.From the onset, I've been trained in audio restoration as well. This involves faithful digitalization of analog media, repairing damages and anomalies while taking care to preserve the original character of the project at hand.Also since 2003 I'm working part time for automotive training company Autodidact. Here I developed skills in photography and video, making promotional videos for international automotive brands like Snap-on and Denso.In 2015 I started producing multicamera interviews on spiritual development for non-profit organisation Miracles in Contact. This satisfies both my interest in audio/video production and spirituality.Further integrating my capabilities in the audio/video field, on behalf of coaching company Open en Eerlijk Coaching, I've produced several videos to support a vitality campaign for Ahold/Delhaize in 2017.
