As policy officer I've worked for both the strategy & development and the foreign investment acquisition department (amsterdam inbusiness). Projects and ongoing activities I’ve worked on include:- Management of 'Amsterdam Economic Board' projects, including (financial) analysis of proposals, monitoring of and reporting on project development and progress. Projects are aimed at stimulating innovation and cooperation between government, business and science with the goal of adding to sustainable economic growth in the Amsterdam metropolitan area- coordination and writing of grant applications with European funds, in cooperation with European partner cities- coordination of the Global Business Hub strategy of Amsterdam. This is the strategy to support Amsterdam’s ambition to be a global business hub- the development of the amsterdam inbusiness Market Intelligence Unit. Market Intelligence supports the acquisition of foreign investors to the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area- project leader for the development of a labour market monitor for the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, in cooperation with both public and private partners as well as knowledge institutions, with the aim of bridging the gap between education and the labour market

As economic advisor I worked for the department promoting and supporting international business (formerly known as EVD). Within this International Enterprise department I’ve worked with several subsidies and programs aiming at both international business in Western and emerging markets. Activities included: - Assessment of business plans, investment proposals and grant applications.- Writing of (emerging) market and sector reports.- Monitoring and analysis of and reporting about (macro) economic developments. - Advising and assisting colleagues with interpreting economic developments. - Writing of sector propositions for acquisition of foreign investors. - Economic policy development.

Responsible for development of the mobile (internet) channel of DAG Media. By building a network of mobile internet (content) partners and providers and implementation of strategic marketing managed to triple number of visitors and turned the mobile channel from a cost into a profitable branche of DAG Media.
