For almost 30 years in the IT industry, I have been involved in software development and all the practices that come along. I have taught over 100 courses in programming, change management and source configuration management in 3 different languages, though mostly English. I enjoy teaching to an inquisitive audience.Through my consulting role for 3 different companies, I have often worked for clients at their location. I have experience in the banking, music, car, insurance, securities, credit card and finance industries. I enjoy working in small and larger teams against common goals and appreciate learning with and from others.In the software developer role, I have worked extensively with both procedural backend development for mainframe and IBM i (AS/400), as well as frontend development for browser, tablet and phone interfaces.I love having the opportunity to work on 'full stack' projects, which are both about smooth/intuitive user interfaces as well as secure and fast backend execution. Recently I’ve been looking into the ‘MEAN’ stack with Angular as frontend driver, but looking for future tasks my interest also turns in favour of HTML5 / CSS3 with JavaScript and JQuery.In several job contexts, I have worked with process and workflow integration for IT and helped to create a more efficient work process for project participants in DevOps CI/CD setups.In recent years I have been appointed as team lead for a very skilled mainframe modernization team, and have simultaneously produced promotional material, teaching material and presentations in that matter.As a person, I am very outgoing, and am good with just about everyone. I am patient and understanding, and a very good listener that people find easy to talk to.I work well independently but prefer and love to work in a team.I love sports and do both ice hockey and soccer in my spare time. I choose these sports to seek the strength of a team, and of course, because they're fun to play.
