At the time, Massage Envy franchise license sales had skyrocketed and were beginning to exceed the capacity of their development system. After an in-depth review of their existing staff, systems, standards, and procedures, I implemented a full rework of their Development Program. This included refining the construction administration process, communication platform, and unit tracking system as well as hiring and training a staff to manage the revamped system. Other areas of concern were accomplishing the forecasted growth while maintaining a consistent brand image and experience. This required the standardization of interior and exterior signage programs, standardization of the clinic look and feel thru the creation of a brand standards manual, and ensuring the availability of building materials and services by leveraging volume to establish relationships with national vendors and suppliers. During my tenure at Massage Envy, I guided the development of approximately 500 new locations throughout the Domestic US. As a result of changing business needs, I was also responsible for creating the development program for Massage Envy Spa and leading the rebranding efforts of approximately 250 existing units from basic clinic to a spa clinic. -
