I joined Massage Envy in early 2007 as head of their Development Department and was responsible for restructuring and managing their development program in order to meet an increase in projected growth. At the time, Massage Envy franchise license sales had skyrocketed and were beginning to exceed the capacity of their development system. After an in-depth review of their existing staff, systems, standards, and procedures, I implemented a full rework of their Development Program. This included refining the construction administration process, communication platform, and unit tracking system as well as hiring and training a staff to manage the revamped system. Other areas of concern were accomplishing the forecasted growth while maintaining a consistent brand image and experience. This required the standardization of interior and exterior signage programs, standardization of the clinic look and feel thru the creation of a brand standards manual, and ensuring the availability of building materials and services by leveraging volume to establish relationships with national vendors and suppliers. During my tenure at Massage Envy, I guided the development of approximately 500 new locations throughout the Domestic US. As a result of changing business needs, I was also responsible for creating the development program for Massage Envy Spa and leading the rebranding efforts of approximately 250 existing units from basic clinic to a spa clinic.

As Project Manager for this small construction firm located in Sorrento Valley California, my role was very diverse. We primarily targeted hard-bid public works projects but also serviced a select group of commercial real estate development clients which were typically negotiated design-build tenant improvement project types. During this time I gained valuable exposure to the challenging and risky public works hard bid process as well as experience managing multiple design-build projects with very limited resources. Projects completed: (design-build T.I.) Shaolin Kempo Arts Dojo, Sorrento Valley Auto & Body Shop, Micro Vision Optical Corporate HQ, WDI Interior Design Center, Rancho Bernardo Marriot Courtyard Hotel exterior renovation, and (ground up) Phase 3 expansion of Calavera Hills Elementary School.

Initially refining my project management skill set on twin 24 story structural concrete condominium towers located in the heart of downtown San Diego, I was then selected to be on the joint venture team that would build the new home for the San Diego Padres. My role at Petco Park was to manage, organize, present, and negotiate approximately ten million dollars in change orders that were received over the duration of the project. After the completion of the stadium, I joined the team dedicated to servicing the rapidly expanding campus of Qualcomm in Sorrento Valley Ca. During my time at Qualcomm, I managed a number of tenant improvement projects including office space, data centers, photovoltaic systems, and the renovation of on campus restaurants and cafes.Projects completed: (T.I) Qualcomm Building "AR", Qualcomm Building "AC", Qualcomm Building "Q" Phase I interior and Phase II exterior, Qualcomm Building "Q" Photovoltaic system, Renaissance Unit 2202 Penthouse, and (ground up) Renaissance Condominium Towers, Petco Park.
