I began my career with a residential property developer working closely with our in-house A&D, construction, and joinery divisions (as well as mortgage lenders and conveyancers). This is where I had my formal education in property development and estate agent qualifications. Fast forward 25 years owning a business for much of that time and always in and out of my own residential and commercial property investments, I am now involved in the design, project management, and costings for multi-million Pound industrial projects, spending a large part onsite with sub-contractors and consultants. Due to the value, and volatility of costs, as well as the detailed nature of these schedule of works, getting the program and numbers right is crucial. This same due diligence is applied to my property sourcing business where we help investors achieve their investment objectives by sourcing off-market property deals and forming joint ventures that focus on positive cash flow and added value through HMO/Co-Living and permitted development.
