I began my working life in Houston. Administration led to an understanding and interest in document control and record management. This allowed me to gain the thorough knowledge I would need to implement company wide solutions for content management. Once that was completed I then built company processes and workflows. I have project managed the implementation of Filenet P8, Sharepoint and Oracle CRM solutions. I oversaw the digitisation and migration of company data, documents and records. The solutions were purchased hardware and software, single or concurrent licences and/or software as a service.While back in Northern Ireland I have worked for NIE Networks. I work in a small team that has a large scope and responsibility. Dealing with internal, external and third party customers. It has been the role I have had for 11 years. I have stayed in this role due to the autonomy our manager has given us and the responsibility we are allowed to hold. I have had more education in my time at NIE Networks than my previous 30 years. A Btec in electrical and electronic engineering, future leaders and ICS to name a few. To be at a company where you can see a lifetime career is rare these days. NIE Networks offers this, they also follow through. From a cubicle, to an office, to a project manager, I'd rather be customer facing for NIE Networks.
